Gas Lease

Our client is a resident of Delaware County and owned land in Tioga County. Because the Marcellus Shale was located under our client's property, numerous oil and gas exploration companies were interested in leasing the land from the landowners in the area, including our client.

Our position was that for our client to realize a maximum gain, we should execute a lease as soon as possible, before oil & gas prices declined, and before other land owners began to lower prices in an effort to become one of the few that were offered a lease.

As a result, our client realized a gain that exceeded the value of the land itself.

Real Estate Tax Assessment Appeal

Our client had recently purchased a home in Chester County, Pa for $867,000 for his wife and family to reside. We examined his property assessment records and recent values and were able to successfully appeal his real estate assessment. Our firm was able to reduce his yearly real estate tax liability by over $3700, or a savings of over $300 per month.

Our fee for the entire case was less than 3 months of savings.
